More Christmasing!

After Christmas, we had one more Christmas with Nan and Papa and Tony, Angie, Emma, Jacob, Livie, Ann, Tim, and Aaron. More fun, gifts, and food. Our children (and ourselves) were spoiled!

Christmas Day

After all the fun at home, we headed to Gma and Gpa Thompson's for some more fun! With Ryan, Rachel, Lainey, LJ, Matt, Mandy, Mona, Zach, Ben, Lizzie, Dan and I, Brett, Claire, Gma and Gpa.... it was a full house and full of excitement! More gifts, food, and laughter ensued. Then we headed to Nan and Papa's for the Totten side and then back again for games and cards at the Thompson's. We had a wonderful Christmas! Brett was REALLY into opening gifts this year and Claire liked to do a few and then was finished. But they both loved the toys and playing with cousins and family :)

SANTA visited our house!!

Sure enough..... Christmas morning came and Santa didn't forget us again! Brett got the scarf he was hoping for.... and more! And Claire got a baby and everything she needed to take care of her! We had a blast opening our gifts. Dan and I turned out to be the biggest kids.... and couldn't wait for the kids to wake up.... so we woke them up to start the fun!!! A mysterious gift from "Santa" showed up under our tree... we got a wii for the family. We are having fun with it already! And it turns out Brett is a pretty good bowler and boxer!!

Christmas Eve

We had a super Christmas this year. The fun started on Christmas Eve which was spent at my mom and dad's house with family. We had lunch and opened gifts and then Brett's church Christmas program was that evening at church. After that we went to Grandma and Grandpa Behrends house for cookies and more visiting. And then home to get out cookies and apples for Santa and the reindeer and off to bed for some rest for the big day!!

A Christmas Wish for all our friends and family!

The kids and I were home today for a snow day! Hooray! The only bad thing was Brett's school Christmas party was going to be today at preschool.... oh well! We had a fun day together anyway! We decided to try the video out on the camera.... check it out!
Brett's Christmas program at school was last night and guess who's camera was dead when she pulled it out?! Thanfully, Gma Thompson had hers along and we'll have to get copies from her! First program....and no camera! Think I lost my mother of the year award!!

Holiday fun!

Just a few photos of some Christmas preparation fun....Santa visited my office. Brett talked his ear off and Claire was not so sure. Brett went home and wrote a letter to Santa and is enthralled with how "magic" he is! We also went to Kennedy Park for a hayride through the park and by the lights. Such fun that comes along with the holiday season :)

The Polar Express continued....

Polar Express

We went on the Polar Express last night in Boone. The kids really enjoyed it. We rode on the train, heard the story of the Polar Express, had a visit from Santa with bells for each child, and had cookies and hot chocolate. Here are some photos of the fun :)

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a wonderful time with the Thompson's and the Totten's this Thanksgiving. There are just tons of kids on both sides, so chaos and fun is what it's all about!
