Bathtime fun!

Check out the silly bathtub pictures I took last night. Brett and Claire each had a squirt bottle and were dousing each other. And spitting water out of their mouths... which Claire is not that successful at! As you can see from the photo...Brett is!!! :)

Dan and I put Claire down for a nap today (snow day). We started to hear some noise so Dan went upstairs to see what was going on and called me in immediately... this is what we saw! Pretty creative, our little Claire!

Snow Day fun!

We've had a few snow days lately, due to snow and plain old COLD weather.... so the kids and I have been baking and playing! Here are some pictures of the fun!

Sledding

Brett, Claire, Daddy, and I went sledding last week before it got soo cold. Brett LOVED it... he was an animal.... asking us to go through the deep snow, go faster, laying on his belly with a face full of snow! He just couldn't get enough! Claire didn't mind it, but was ready to get off the sled pretty quickly. She liked riding with Daddy on the four-wheeler better than with Brett in the sled! Here are some pictures.

Claire's new toy box and BIG girl bed!

Some excitement for Claire in 2009. She made the big move to a big girl bed. We were nudged by the addition of her new toy box (made with love by Daddy Dan!) and rearranging furniture- so we decided to just go for it! So far, so good. She's slept the last two nights just like normal. The first night, she didn't get out of bed, she was just awake a long time! Yeah for the big Claire Bear!!

We had a low key celebration of the new year at home this year. The kids played and then after the kids went to bed, the adults had a turn to play cards and wii and visit. Here are a few photos of the kids hamming it up with some 2009 glasses. Happy New Year!
